What is World of Dance Studios TOKYO?

World of Dance Studios TOKYO is the only studio in Japan that gives you the opportunity to perform around the world. And it is the first dance studio of World of Dance Studios in the world. We also hold the events in foreign countries.

We have 3 studios, changing rooms and shower rooms. We keep the studios clear with high-spec air sterilization.

We have a variety of classes with a variety of levels so that you can take them whenever you want, according to your goals.

★ Instructor

We have talented choreographers to support you to achieve your dreams. And you can take streaming masterclasses taught by world class dancers from overseas even if you live in Japan.

★ KIDS class

Currently we have K-POP class at WOD Studios TOKYO and cheer class at LIMITED Creaation..

Classes are suitable for anyone who want to enjoy dancing, regardless of their level or experience.

Basic

Classes are suitable for anyone who want to learn the basics of Jazz and Street dance throughly from scratch. Learning the basics will make your dance look much better.

Start Beginner

Classes are suitable for dancers who have no experience in dance and who want to learn how to move your body, improve your rhythm and timing.

Newbie

Classes are suitable for dancers who have very little experience in dance or in a particular genre of dance.

Beginner (Beg)

Classes are suitable for dancers who have little experience in dance or in a particular genre of dance.

Intermediate (Int)

This level of class is suitable for dancers who've attended beginners classes and would like to progress to improvers level.

Advanced (Adv)

Classes are perfect for advanced dancers looking to work on their precision and technique.

  • (*1) Choose the payment method whether you pay by cash or by credit cards, and also whether you pay for ticket(s) or for monthly fee.
  • (*2) You will be required to pay total amount of sign up fee, handling fee, monthly fee for the first two months or ticket(s) when you sign up for the studio. Payment will be by credit cards only. However, only customer who doesn’t have a credit card can pay in cash at the front desk when you attend the first class, or you can pay by credit card online.
  • (*3) Trial lesson is valid for the first time only for non-members.

Q How can I take trial lesson?
― Trial lesson is valid for the first time only for non-members. You need to create an account on Hacomono first. Then you can register for trial class via Hacomono. Please make sure that the class you want to take will be held as scheduled, and also that the class still has the space for registration.
Q What do I need to bring with me to trial lesson?
― Please bring comfortable clothes to dance, indoor shoes, towel and something to drink. If you are thinking to sign up after the lesson, please see here for more details.
Q Can I visit the studio to watch the lesson?
― Yes. Please feel free to come to our studio and watch the lesson through the glass or on the monitor for free at anytime without reservation. However you cannot enter the studio during the lesson.
Q How do I sign up for WOD Studios?
― Please access to Hacomono, create an account and choose one of tickets or monthly plan.

Q How can my son/daughter who is a minor sign up for the studio?
― Please access to Hacomono, create an account and choose one of tickets or monthly plan.

Q Is previous dance experience necessary?
― Not required. Please select a lesson marked with a beginner’s mark from the schedule. You are welcome to observe dance lessons with free at any time.
Q Can I sign up for WOD Studios in the middle of the month instead of the beginning?
― You can sign up for Open program and Fitness program anytime.
Please CONTACT US if you want to sign up for WOD Kids program or WOD Academy program.
Q How do I check in?
― Please log in Hacomono and display your member QR code on your smartphone and hold it over the iPad at reception desk.
Q How can I check in when I didn’t bring my smartphone?
― Please show us your member’s card at reception desk.
Q Is it possible to take the lesson from the middle when I arrive later than the lesson start time?
― You can take the lesson as long as it is before 15 minutes have passed since the lesson started. But, in order to prevent you from getting injured, you can NOT take the lesson if it’s been more than 15 minutes since the lesson started. And you will lose one ticket even if you don’t take the lesson. Please make sure to arrive the studio ahead of the start time.
Q Where do I check out the information of cancellation and substitute classes?
― Please see cancellation and substitute.
Q What do I need to bring with me to take a lesson?
― Please bring comfortable clothes to dance, indoor shoes, towel, something to drink and your smartphone (or member card). Skin shoes and ballet shoes may be required for some lessons.
Q How can I take an additional lesson when I’ve used all my tickets in the month?
― Please purchase an additional ticket.
Q Do I need to bring my indoor shoes?
― Yes, you need to bring the Indoor shoes because outdoor shoes are not allowed in the studio. Or, you need to dance barefoot if you didn’t bring indoor shoes.
Q When is the deadline for registration for classes?
― It’s available to register by the time the class start.
Q How do I register for classes?
― You can register for classes through Hacomono after you make an account of Hacomono. Please see this page for more details.
Q How do I cancel the class that I’ve already registered? And do I need to pay cancelation fee?
― You can cancel the class through Hacomono without cancelation fee if you cancel before three hours the class starts. But if you cancel it less than three hours before the class starts, you’ll lose the ticket for the class.
Q How do I change the number of classes a month, tickets to monthly fee or monthly fee to tickets?
― Changes can only be made via your account page on Hacomono; not by phone call and email.
*If you apply for a change by 19th, the change will be reflected in the following month.
*If you apply for a change after the 19th, the change will be reflected in the following two months.
Q How do I change the information of my credit cards?
― Changes can only be made via your account page on Hacomono; not by phone call and email.
Q Can I eat and drink in the studio?
― Hydration is allowed in the studio. If you wish to eat, please do so in the lounge.
Q Is there a shower room in the studio?
― There is one shared shower room in the studio.
Q Is there a vending machine in the studio?
― Yes.
Q When are you closed?
― We are regularly closed on Mondays. In addition, we may be closed during the year-end and New Year holidays, and on days when events are hold.
Q Can I participate in domestic and international events even if I’m not a member of the studio?
― You can participate in events, but if you become a member, you can attend events at a more discounted membership rate.
*You must attend international events with the tour organized by us; this tour includes entry ticket, flight tickets, accomodation, transportation and more.
